Yesterday was plumbing day. We were able to get all of the drains put in where we are going to pour the slab. I hired someone in our ward to moonlight for me. He is a plumber by trade and works on the local water wells.
Matthew likes to help as well as climb the muddy dirt piles around the house. His shoes usually weigh 20 pounds by the time the day is over.

Here is the current state of the house. The plumber has a few teenage boys helping us out.

Plumbing is not too hard. You just have to make sure you have the right slope. It's also good to have someone around who knows the plumbing code in order to know what size pipe to put in.
We had to cut into the existing sewer and were unable to use water in the house for a few hours. We saw some rice and lettuce from the garbage disposal, but no brown trout. We were happy.
Hannah doesn't go anywhere without her black and white kitty.

Here is Matthew next to the "Boston Loop". We had to put one in to honor Kimberly. Actually it will be the drain for the island in the kitchen.
We still have to put some water supply lines in and some conduit for electrical. After that, we can call in the inspector and start pouring the slab.
